Info On Horses
Does anyone have any info on FRIESIAN horses ?
I am thinking of buying a Friesian gelding. I have heard that they have a great temperament and are good for novices. Anyone know ……?
I have kept horses for 30 years.so no more “Do you know how to look after a horse” answers please !!

Email me with your email address and I will send you a thing I got from the Friesian Horse society which tells you everything you need to know about buying one. They are brilliant horses with supperb temperments – I am getting one in a year or so.
Also you will find it really hard to buy one in the uk – try www.friesians4all.com. They are a dutch company who specalise in exporting Friesians and it is a lot cheaper to buy one in Holland and have it exported – the export is only about £500 depending where you live in the uk. You will get a really good horse for 4 or 5 thousand – a similar horse in the uk will cost you around 8 – 10 thousand because there are a lot less of them. I know people who have used this website before and they are really good. Also go to Amazon and get a book called ‘The Friesian Horse’ by Laura Beeman. It gives good basic info and explains about the registration and blood lines and all that sort of thing. If you type ‘friesian horse society uk’ into yahoo then their website should come up and they have lots of info there as well.
